Last month I ran a series of successful one-day workshops for the Department of Industry, Innovation and Science, in Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Bunbury. I treat presenting at workshops like a performance; it's exhausting but exhilarating. I know the audience appreciated the performance, as I received a round of applause from attendees at the conclusion of the last two workshops! I'm pleased as punch and looking forward to running more workshops in the future.
Communication skills are vital for anyone in business. The ability to stand up, speak up and persuade is crucial to getting yourself heard and your message understood. We are all 'salespeople' when we present to our clients, selling our company and services and most importantly - ourselves.
